    Frequently Asked Questions

    Do I need to speak Bosnian or Italian? expand_more

    No. Our camps are bilingual (Italian/English) and activities are universal — play, art, and care transcend language barriers. Many of our most impactful volunteers speak neither.

    How old do I need to be to volunteer? expand_more

    Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. We welcome all ages, professions, and backgrounds. Medical professionals are especially valued.

    How long are the missions? expand_more

    Typical missions run 1–2 weeks, usually in July or August. Some volunteers stay for the full camp season. We'll discuss your availability during the application process.

    Is there a cost to volunteer? expand_more

    Accommodation and meals are provided during camp. You cover your own travel to Bosnia. Some volunteers fundraise for their travel — we can help guide you.
